The countdown begins as OnePlus 5, the flagship killer we have all been waiting for has now released its launch date to be June 20th this year, and you will be able to get your hands on one of these bad boys by June 22nd when they hit the stores.

That’s in line with previous launches, as the OnePlus One launched in April 2014, the OnePlus 2 in July 2015 and the OnePlus 3 in June 2016.

We don’t yet know for sure when it will be available to purchase in the UK, US or Australia, but Amazon India is listing it for June 22, so it’s likely to land elsewhere on that date too.

Either way, OnePlus has teased the phone for “Summer 2017” so we probably won’t be waiting much longer, especially as the company has stopped selling the OnePlus 3T already.

But if like us you cannot wait that long for a glimpse of the oneplus 5, the below image, leaked by OnePlus themeselves, show the front and back of the soon to be launched phone.

Looking an awful lot like the Iphone 7 plus, the image gives us almost a complete view of the back of the handset, showing off two camera lenses, with an antenna band running above them and a OnePlus logo below.

It looks to be made of metal, with curved edges, and in a tweet OnePlus has described it as “a continuous hard edge, refined over 3 years.” There are some unfortunate talks of the headphone jack being moved to the top of the handset. Sadly, we can’t see the bottom edge, so it’s impossible to say whether the port is gone altogether or not.

The OnePlus 5 is expected to come in a choice of grey, gold or black colours, like the OnePlus 3T. It’s is expected to be skinnier than Apple’s current flagship, though, with OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirming that it’ll arrive as the “thinnest flagship phone”.

With just 6 days to the big launch, we cannot wait to see what more there is to be discovered,

SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD South African girl hands herself to police to be charged with murder

A17 year old girl has handed herself to the south African police and has been charged with murder after killing a man who tried to rape her. South African police said: “she was on her way to a local tavern when she was allegedly attacked by the deceased and fought back,”

The young lady stabbed the 21-year-old after overpowering him during a struggle, the police said. The girl didn’t have to plead guilty when she appeared at the Lenyenye magistrate’s court in the northern Limpopo province.

The suspect, who is still a minor under the south African law and would be sent to a social worker and probably a counsellor to help with the case, according to the south African police. She is expected to tell the court that she acted in self-defence, when the case resumes today – 14 June 2017.

London fire: six confirmed dead, 20 more critical after #GrenfellTower block blaze

The fire that swept through a 27-storey west London tower block in just 15 minutes after a fridge exploded could be one of the worst in British history – there are at the moment fears that nobody on the top three floors survived.

Six people are known to have died after fire engulfed Grenfell Tower in White City at 1am today but Scotland Yard says the death toll is expected to rise significantly.

At the height of the blaze petrified residents were seen throwing themselves and their children out of windows to avoid being burned to death – others made ropes by tying bed sheets together or using them as makeshift parachutes.

But a baby tossed from the ‘ninth or 10th floor’ of the building housing 600 people was caught by a member of the public and survived with only broken bones and bruises, a witness has said.

The trapped, some of whom were still inside, were heard begging for their lives while waving white towels, torches and mobile phones to attract the attention of the 200 firefighters who started storming the building within six minutes of the 999 call.

Those who managed to flee said it was ‘like hell on earth’ inside as they scrambled over dead bodies and claimed there was no working fire alarm, sprinklers failed and the only staircase out was blocked.

Grenfell’s own community action group called for the tower to be pulled down four years ago over ‘appalling’ fire safety in the building and said today their repeated warnings to landlord Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO) fell on ‘deaf ears’. KCTMO completed a £10million refurbishment last year and the new cladding encasing the block originally built in 1974 ‘went up like a match.

Firefighters have braved extreme temperatures and needed riot shield to protect themselves from falling debris including glass

Janet Jackson ‘Keeps It Real’ | Confirms Separation From Husband

Janet Jackson spoke directly to her fans yesterday – Speaking from her bed in a video, the singer announced the resumption of her renamed world tour and briefly addressed her separation from husband Wissam Al Mana. There were a few moments of spontaneity, too, such as brother Randy Jackson teasing her off-camera about her weight gain and the singer admonishing him for his remarks. But the primary reason for the clip was for Jackson to reconnect with her base and announce that she will be continuing her Unbreakable tour, which was initially postponed to plan her family..

The 50-year-old gushed about her baby son, Eissa, to whom she gave birth in January. And in an effort to “keep it real,” she acknowledged her estrangement from Eissa’s dad, Al Mana.

“Yes, I separated from my husband,” she said. “We are in court and the rest is in God’s hands.”

A special message from Janet for her fans. See Janet's entire message at:

Woman Gives Birth At London Bridge Station | First #LondonBridgeBaby

Attempting to travel through London Bridge station at rush hour is tough enough at the best of times, but imagine tackling the hordes of post-work commuters while going into labour. Well, that’s exactly what happened to one woman on Thursday who started having contractions on a Southeastern train before collapsing on a bench on one of the station’s platforms.

The station staff came to rescue, wrapping her in blankets grabbed from a nearby branch of Oliver Bonas and taking her to a medical room, which had been set up while building work continues at London Bridge, where she gave birth to a baby boy at around 4:30pm with the help of an off-duty doctor before paramedics arrived.

According to a post on the station’s Twitter account both mum and baby are doing well and the little guy has the honour of being the first newborn to ever be birthed at London Bridge.

potential delays for #BBUK Due to #generalElection

If you are a Big brother UK Die hard fan – we hate to be the bearer of bad news [NOT]  … but here goes…

Prime Minister Theresa May recently announced Thursday June 8 as the day of reckoning, despite the fact this is reportedly the week Channel 5 has mentioned previously that they plan to kick off BBUK 2017.

This means there’s likely to be an interference with episodes, as news coverages are obviously more important for some not so die hard fans

It may even be the case that viewers have to wait a whole more week before seeing who’s going in to the infamous BBUK house. #Hardtimes #Tryingtimes #sadtimes

But not to worry…  because you see – the last series of Big Brother in 2016 kicked off on a Thursday, the same day the election is happening this year, and the day of the week that the launch falls on has in the past varied, so it may be that the clash poses only a minor delay.

In the meantime, feel free to keep up with all things BigBrother UK via
